1 Cora Terrace Backpackers Lodge, Port Elizabeth, is positioned in the historical centre of the city. The backpackers was built in the 1850's, it is a South African National Monument. Port Elizabeth is a beautiful seaside city, and the heart of the city is Central where Cora Terrace is positioned. It is an area where cultures mingle and where the new South African identity will be formed.
The Private and Dormitory rooms have communial bathrooms and the kitchens and living areas are all communal. The large lounge and balcony or braai (BBQ) facilities are great places to mingle and plan the following days activities.

The backpackers presents the ideal stop over while exploring the Eastern Cape, with the pub being a perfect place to reflect whilst recharging after an adventure full day.

Directions: From the N2 Highway take the M4 Settlers Way highway (Summerstrand). Follow until the Russel Road turnoff. Turn left at Rink Street (1st Engen Garage). The road spilts, keep left into Bird Street. Park at 22 Bird Street. Cora Terrace is a walkway off Bird Street.
